Biography:
Ed Masuoka is the Chief of the Terrestrial Information Systems Laboratory whose staff members focus on the development and operation of data systems that produce, archive and distribute data products from Earth observing satellites as well as the development, characterization and validation of fundamental Earth science data products used to study global change. He also manages two data systems that produce land, atmosphere and atmospheric chemistry products and a distributed active archive center (DAAC) at Goddard Space Flight Center.
