Super Typhoon Krosa Approaching Taiwan

Super Typhoon Krosa is featured in this image captured by the MODIS on the Terra satellite on October 5, 2007, at 2:15 UTC. On October 4, Typhoon Krosa had been intensifying over the northeastern Philippine Sea, and was expected to head towards Taiwan and the Chinese mainland coast.

This is indeed where Krosa is heading, with winds of 150 mph, and gusts up to 185 mph. The storm may weaken slightly once it is over Taiwan, possibly early on Sunday local time.
