David Edwards is a Senior Scientist at the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR). He is the Interim Director of the NCAR Earth System Laboratory and heads the Program for Atmospheric Composition and Remote Sensing (ACRESP). Edwards is also a former Science Advisor on the NCAR Executive Committee. He has 25 years experience in satellite remote sensing of atmospheric composition with contributions at every stage of mission development: science driven concept, instrument design, authoring science algorithms, and scientific utilization of measurements.
