MODIS And VIIRS Calibration Workshop On March 11

The MODIS and VIIRS Characterization Support Teams (MCST/VCST) are hosting a one-day MODIS+VIIRS calibration workshop on Wednesday, March 11. The workshop will be in-person at NASA GSFC with a virtual option provided for non-local attendees.

The morning will include talks from MCST and VCST to provide updates on the missions, MODIS and VIIRS instrument status, calibration and geolocation updates, L1B processing status, orbit drift impacts for MODIS, and J4/J3 VIIRS pre-launch status. The afternoon will feature presentations on the calibration impacts to Land and Atmosphere data products, as well as stability and intercomparison assessments. An agenda will be released soon.

If you would like to attend virtually, please RSVP to us and we will provide a Teams link to join. If you would like to attend in person but do not have a badge to access GSFC, please contact us and we will work with you to get visitor access for the day.
